Giorgia Mollo (Eleonora Giorgia Mollo) is an italian songwriter born in Rossano Calabro, the 20th of december in 1992, based in London where she studies music business and artist development at “The Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance”. She started her singing studies at the age of 6 at a local music school in her native town, Fagnano Castello and, at the young age of 13, she started travelling around Italy to improve her singing technics. In Rome, Giorgia attended a well-known music school, Saint Louis college, where she studied vocal techniques. After few years, she moved to Milan to attend one of the most popular music schools, CPM, where she started writing her first musical compositions, trained by her singing teacher Tommaso Ferrarese who was truly convinced of Giorgia’s special and original talent . At 18 of age after a summer trip in England, she met by fate Phil Spalding, known as one of the best session musicians amongst the european and international music atmosphere, for having worked with several artists such as Elton John, Robbie Williams, Kyle Minogue, Seal, Mick Jaggaer, Mike Oldfield and many others. Having heard Giorgia’s musical compositions, Phil suggested her to work on a first recording project where the two started working and writing together. After having met Phil Spalding, Giorgia decided to move to England to study at a music school, Tech Music School of London where she got a diploma when she was only 18. She then decided to study music business and artist management at The Institute Of Contemporary Music And Performance in London, as she’s always believed that artists can truly contribute to their successes, only when they are able to self-manage themselves.Over the last spring she was put in contact with a great producer and musician, whose name is Fabio Massimo Colasanti, also known amongst the music world for having worked with several italian and international artists such as Pino Daniele, Grignani, Giorgia, Simple Minds, Eric Clapton, Salif Keta and many others. After having met Giorgia Mollo, the guy decided to produce her, choosing some of giorgia’s best musical compositions in order to rearrange and to give to the whole EP a distinctive sound, also charcterized by Giorgia’s unique and personal timbre of voice. The whole Ep has been recorded at Forward studios, which is known to be one of the most professional recording studios in Rome and the first single of the ep ” you can’t pretend anymore” was released in december 2014.

Giorgia Mollo(Eleonora Giorgia Mollo) è una cantautrice italiana nata a Rossano Calabro il 20 dicembre 1992, residente a Londra da diversi anni dove studia Music Business e Management Artistico al “The Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance”.
Inizia a studiare canto all’età di sei anni all’accademia del suo paese, Fagnano Castello, ma dall’età di tredici anni inizia a viaggiare e studiare in diverse accademie italiane.
A Roma studia tecnica vocale per alcuni anni al Saint Louis spostandosi in seguito a Milano verso il CPM, “Centro Professione Musica” di Franco Mussida dove inizia a comporre le sue canzoni spinta da una creatività prorompente e sostenuta dal suo maestro Tommaso Ferrarese.
All’età di 18 anni, di ritorno da un viaggio in Inghilterra, conosce a Roma Phil Spalding, noto musicista di sessione nel panorama inglese ed internazionale per aver collaborato con Elton John, Robbie Williams, Mich Jaggaer, Seal, Kyle Minogue, Mike Oldfield e molti altri.
Dopo aver ascoltato i suoi brani, Phil le propone di lavorare ad un primo progetto di collaborazione e scrittura musicale dando il via ad un’amicizia ed un progetto che continuano ancora oggi.
In seguito all’incontro con Phil, Giorgia decide di trasferirsi in Inghilterra dove all’età di 18 anni si diploma in pop music and performance al Tech Music School of London.
Decide di seguire il corso di laurea in Music Business and Mananagement Artistico al “The Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance” di Londra poiché convinta che il self-management dell’artista sia la carta vincente verso un successo duraturo.
Nella primavera del 2014 viene messa in contatto col noto musicista e produttore italiano Fabio Massimo Colasanti, noto nel panorama italiano ed internazionale per collaborazioni prestigiose con Pino Daniele, Grignani, Giorgia, Simple Minds, Eric Clapton, Salif Keta e tanti altri. Colasanti decide di produrre Giorgia scegliendo 6 tra i suoi brani migliori riarrangiandoli e registrando un EP ai Forward Studios di Roma da cui il primo brano “You cant’t pretend anymore” uscito nel dicembre 2014. Il risultato è uno stile pop con contaminazioni blues e jazz rafforzati da un timbro vocale deciso e personale.
Giorgia Mollo vive attualmente a Brighton dove da alcuni mesi studia songwriting and artist development al BIMM, prestigiosa scuola per cantautori.
